2010 Agenda

Important topics that impact Indian Country will be covered and are organized into tracks for easy reference. The following is a list of the tracks with sample topics for this year's conference:

  • Track #1: Substance Abuse – alcohol/illicit drug/prescription drug abuse/dependence; motivational interviewing; contingency management
  • Track #2: Mental Health – co-occurring disorders, suicide, assessment/treatment of psychiatric disorders
  • Track #3:  Child, Family, and Community Wellness – child abuse/neglect, domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse
  • Track #4:  General Interest – historical trauma, traditional healing, evidence and practice-based programs; veterans issues, developmental disorders in children and adolescents

Exhibitors, Vendors, Cultural Activities, and Awards
The event will feature exhibitors, vendors, cultural activities, and an IHS Awards Ceremony.
